Three years in a row now we've been able to come here. Three more in the works? Hope so. I must admit that I was ready to leave the city to come here. I don't think I will ever be able to eat sourdough bread again! My family had already been here a day before we got here. It's only a three hour drive from San Francisco but it seemed like longer. This is the most relaxing, laid back place to come, and since we usually come in the first week of June, there's not many people here yet. We get bikes and ride around Tahoe City, and we ride on the trail that goes all along the lake and the Truckee River. Just driving around the lake is beautiful. You can even smell the pine in the air. We were here for around three days and we really didn't want to leave. I could definately come here for the whole summer. Till next year lovely Tahoe!
